The video posted above does a good job of blending original work with historical pictures. Because the pictures were all taken in the 1860s it appears copyright laws were not violated by using them. The music provided as background music was never cited, it could have been taken from freeplay music but a citation would be nice. There are no citations of anykind during the film or at the end, even if the music and pictures were obtain legally it should still be cited although it was used for an educational purpose.

yea most the ones I looked at never had any citings either- it seemed to be a really common breach of the copyright
