In group 1 I'm in charge for sections 7&8. 7 is just creating a longer recording, all that is required is to delete your practice recording then move the playhead back to the initial starting position. Then you repeat the steps
Select the track named Male Voice.
Click the red record button.
Begin speaking.
Press the red record button again to stop recording.
Press the Play button to stop the playhead from scrolling.

When your done click the red record button to stop the recording, you'll notice that the playhead continues moving to the right to stop it you press the play button.

8 - When we want to share a podcast that we've created we select the "share" menu item and select the "Export podcast to disk" option. To save your podcast in garageband type in your desired filename and click save. After it is saved you'll need to navigate back to your garageband folder. When you get to that folder your new file should be there. If the Finder is set up to show filename extensions you'll also see the extension "m4a" on the end of your file, or if it's set up to show files in columns, the "Kind" column will show that this file is an "mpg4 audio file". This is a compressed file format that can be used by several software applications, including iTunes.
